Strapping waste needs to be sorted by type and the AWS Chopper Stand allows the user to easily slide the chopper over two drums to sort steel from polyester (PET) strapping.

The stand is made from heavy duty steel and there is ample space for a small skid to be placed under the PET and steel bins. The bins can then be easily removed with a forklift!

The Chopper Stand is specifically designed for use with the Sweed Strap Chopper 300. The Sweed 300 reduces strap to saleable waste in a matter of seconds. It’s as simple as introducing the strap into the in-feed funnel. The chopper will then continue to pull the strap through at a hi-speed rate until the strap is consumed.
