The new Fromm P330 battery operated strapping tool has arrived in Australia. The P330 is the only tool of its kind to be engineered to replace 32mm hi-tensile steel strap with 25mm polyester (PET) strap.

The FROMM P330 Polyester Hand Strapping Tool delivers huge costs savings for the steel, brick, hardwood timber, aluminium and zinc industries. PET strap is about more than just cost savings. It also creates a safer working environment. The strap has no sharp edges (eliminates cut hands) and is 60% lighter than steel. Strap rolls can be changed by one person without the use of lifting equipment.

Not only does the P330 tool pull a strap tension of 6000N, the PET strap has an ‘elastic memory’ to maintain the tension - even in the event of pack settlement or shrinkage. The best feature of PET strap though – it is fully recyclable and can offer 50% cost savings when compared to steel.
