Desiccant MBD-99
Protect cargo from moisture by lowering the dewpoint inside shipping and storage containers.
By absorbing moisture, reducing humidity and depressing the dewpoint, MBD-99 inhibits the formation of mould, mildew, rust and corrosion.
130 unit bag is specifically for shipping containers. 8 bags are recommended. For a 20 ft container they will absorb 8 x 1.3 litres = 10.4 litres of airborne moisture.
The 6, 15 and 30 unit desiccants for smaller loads like boxes and pallets are now packed in Tyvec bags. Tyvec bags are built tough to resist punctures in abrasive environments and feature a tight pore structure to ensure even the smallest of particles will not allow dust through.
